Rowland Heights, CA (January 4, 2023) – The Rowland Water District (RWD) Board of Directors signed a resolution honoring Brian Bowcock for two decades of distinguished service as a director of Three Valleys Municipal Water District (TVMWD), the District’s wholesale water agency.

Bowcock has worked in various positions in the industry for more than 60 years, including director of public works for the City of LaVerne, controller at the Southern California Water Utilities Association, marketing director for Civiltec Engineering and volunteer for the American Water Works Association. His term on the TVMWD Board ended this month.

“Brian Bowcock has been a trusted voice in the water industry for many years. It was important for us to acknowledge his contributions to ensuring a safe and stable water supply for Southern California,” RWD General Manager Tom Coleman said.

RWD receives State Water Project supplies from TVMWD, and the two districts collaborate on regional and statewide water issues.

“It has been my honor to represent the public’s interest for so many years, to play a role in decisions that directly impact the future of this region, and to have worked with so many exceptional people,” Bowcock said.

Bowcock started his career in local government in 1959 and has served on the TVMWD Board of Directors since January 2003. The resolution approved on December 13, 2022, commends his sound judgment and strong leadership throughout his career while providing top-quality service for customers.
