☀️ This Project Based Learning program is designed for 5th & 6th grade classrooms to raise awareness in the stewardship of natural resources with a culminating project that results in the building of a mini solar powered boat. Students will have the opportunity to race their boats against other students and schools across the RWD service area. 

🏆 1st-3rd place winners will be selected in the following categories: Writing, Presentation and Racing. The program is aligned to both 5th and 6th grade science standards and will challenge the students in all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM).

This program is FREE but has limited availability. 

A presentation to review the program will be held via Zoom on October 19, 2022 at 3:00 PM and is mandatory for all interested teachers. Applications for the program will be due to Brittnie Gildea October 14, 2022 by 3:00 PM! A completed application form (see below) will be required and should be completed by October 14th by 3:00 PM to fully participate in the program.

You will be registered for the presentation once the application is completed and Brittnie will email you the Zoom information.
