January 18, 2019 – Rowland Water District is pleased to announce that sixth grade student Fiona Chen from Blandford Elementary School in Rowland Heights has been named a winner in the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s (MWD) annual Water Is Life poster contest.
(January 17, 2019) –Rowland Water District is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018-2019 EduBucks educational program, which encourages area teachers to get creative in crafting water activities, curriculum, and classroom field trips for their students.
January 15, 2019 – In partnership with the Water Education Water Awareness Committee (WEWAC), Rowland Water District has joined with area cities and water agencies in support of the “WEWAC Water Scholar Program” which promotes water awareness through educational programs.

The Rowland Water District (RWD) Board of Directors has adopted a shared resources/mutual response agreement through its involvement in the Public Water Agencies Group (PWAG), an informal association of 17 public water agencies who provide various types of water service throughout Los Angeles County.
At its December 11th board meeting, three current members of Rowland Water District’s Board of Directors were sworn in to serve additional terms.
The Rowland Water District Board of Directors has released the details of its latest, comprehensive Strategic Plan, which allows the District to adapt to the ever-changing needs of customers while also addressing ongoing water availability concerns.
